Congratulations to the East and West High School SkillsUSA teams on their recent success at the regional competition held at Northcentral Technical College! SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. It provides educational programs, events, and competitions that support career and technical education (CTE) in the nation’s classrooms.

SkillsUSA is coached by Elizabeth Kysely at East High and Nick Polak at West High.

East High participating students included:

Tate Haugen, Jakob Moore, Dan Juedes, Dominic Krause, Kendra Ohde, Max Baumann, Ryan Jeager, Brooke Ohde, Kia Yang, and Shayla Schramm

Dominic Krause earned 1st place and Ryan Jeager earned 2nd place in Screen Printing.

Brooke Ohde earned 2nd place and Dan Juedes earned 3rd place in Job Interview.

West High participating students included:

Cade Amsrud, Lucas Langlois, Kyler Anklam, Bryce Gollhardt, Jacob Neumann
in Team Engineering Challenge.

Tanner Bullman and Dylan Teske in CO2 Dragster.

Jase Glaze and Adam Nelson in Welding.

Dawson Nowak earned 2nd place in CNC Milling.

Eric Schmidt earned 1st place and Simon Schumacher earned 3rd place in Precision Machining.
