Sadie Peissig is pictured next to her artwork, featuring her dog, at CWA.

This inspiring project was the vision of Sadie Peissig, a senior at Wausau West High School, who collaborated with both Wausau West and East Art Departments to bring it to life. The exhibit features a vibrant collection of student artwork that reflects the creativity and talent within our schools.

A group of Community Conversation attendees work together to create a vision of the future of the Wausau School District.

The energy in the room was truly inspiring and that energy grew more and more with each passing day. Together, we listened, learned, and collaborated. We heard powerful stories, bold ideas, and a deep, shared commitment to our students and the future of education in Wausau. This was more than just a conversation — it was the beginning of a community-driven movement. One rooted in partnership, purpose, and possibility.
