What does it mean to be a close contact and quarantine?

What supports are available for parents, students, and staff?

We recognize the impact these surreal circumstances are having on all of us. We encourage our students to continue to find and create moments of familiarity and maintain other routines as much as possible, including communicating with friends and staying active.

School social workers, psychologists, counselors, and nurses, have guidance on supports for supporting both students and staff through this stressful and uncertain time.

We know that given the closure of schools and other community agencies, some existing social-emotional and mental health supports will be disrupted. Here are resources that can help during these uncertain times.

The Nurses in the Wausau School District want to make sure you have the necessary information you need to ensure your child’s health and safety.
