Growing Great Minds

G2M stands for Growing Great Minds, Wausau School District's Out of School Learning Program, which provides academic & enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children. This program operates out of 11 school sites within the Wausau School District -- 9 elementary schools and 2 middle schools.

G2M provides high-quality engagement opportunities to support student learning and development, such as homework help, STEM programs, volunteer opportunities, and music, arts, sports, and cultural activities. At the same time, each site's G2M program ensures students achieve all of these opportunities in a safe environment after school. G2M classes are taught by district staff and community partners.

Wausau School District's G2M programming is not limited to students only at the available school sites. It is open to all students in our district's attendance areas (home school, charter school, private school).

Annual Memberships

The cost for annual membership is $10 per year per student, or a $25 maximum per family to offset the cost of supplies. This is not intended to be a barrier to participation. Families are asked to pay, as they are able. Whether your child attends one class or several, this is a one-time annual fee. Please note that this membership fee is separate from and should not be confused with any athletic fees, membership fees for outside community agencies or other site-specific special programs or events. Parents can pay the G2M program fee via your Infinite campus portal Parent Portal at https://tinyurl.com/G2Mafterschool, or by sending payment with checks payable to the Wausau School District with your student to the attention of your G2M Coordinator.
